What we collect and why

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to and stored by usebasin.com, our form processing provider. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry. Anonymous page analytics

We run our own minimal analytics service (tinyCount) to count page visits. It stores a one-way hash of your IP address, browser user agent, and the current day — this hash cannot be reversed to identify you. No personal data is transmitted off your device in a way that identifies you, and the data is used only to understand which pages are visited. There are no third-party analytics services on this site.

Achievement system (localStorage)

This site includes a gamified achievement layer. All achievement state is stored exclusively in your browser’s localStorage — it never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, localStorage used purely for UI state (not for cross-site tracking) does not require a consent banner.

Third-party scripts

This site loads popper.js and tippy.js from unpkg.com (a CDN). When your browser fetches these scripts, unpkg.com may receive your IP address. For their data practices, see unpkg.com’s privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
